If not now, when?

The blessings and deliverance that this nation has experienced are from outpourings of Grace — outpourings that have periodically happened throughout the history of our nation. And they can happen again…or not.

“…IF My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

What will it take to pull us away from the minutiae and distractions and self-centerdness of life and pray for God’s deliverance for our nation?  How bad does it have to get before we get on our knees and passionately, seriously cry out to the only One who can truly help us?!

…IF…not now, when?

Prince of Peace…

“This Child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many…”
(Luke 2:34)

Revolutions are always messy.  Ever wonder why the Prince of Peace came and died for the sins of the world and still there is much turmoil and lack of peace in the world?  That’s because He came to bring peace — but not unconditional peace.  It was a specific type of peace that He offered — and not a utopian, world-wide, political peace. His peace is only for those who are willing to make peace with God.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.”
(Luke 2:14)

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”
(John 14:27)

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I have come to turn “a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law — a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.”
(Matthew 10:34-36)

Our goal must never be to merely be controversial, or aggressive or argumentative. But we also have to remind ourselves of this great truth. Even when we share the love and truth of Jesus with some people, they will still reject God — and us. You will never be able to “please all the people all the time.” He told us this very clearly.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of My name, for they do not know the One who sent me.” (John 15:18-21)

More Holy Ghost Improv!…

 

I LOVE HOLY GHOST IMPROV!!!  Just today, at the mall, I thanked and prayed for a veteran, blessed another veteran in the name of Jesus, gave a little Jesus booklet to a guy waiting for a ride, told this Muslim lady that I would be praying for her health in the name of Jesus, and interceded for the people around me.

I am def not saying these things to brag on myself — these were all little baby steps of faith, and all by His Grace.  Just a good reminder that we all (including me) sometimes need: Everyday, everywhere, there HE is — with His amazing adventure!! His WIND is always blowing — all we have to do is remember to keep our sails up and be ready.

It can be at the mall, at work, on the street, the grocery store — wherever.   All we have to do is stay engaged with Him, keep listening, and keep our eyes open to the souls and opportunities around us.

Please don’t look to politicians for answers.  They were not responsible for the blessings in this nation.  And they are certainly not anymore responsible for its problems or darkness than anyone else.  Washington DC is just a microcosm of America. (Gosh darn it, who elected them scumbags anyway?!)

The River!

“Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the River flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this Water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the River flows everything will live.” (Ezekiel 47:9)

This RIVER changes the Dead Sea to Living Water.  It changes the Zombie Apocalypse to Glory Revival!

Heavenly Abba – please show us what we have done to stop up this River – and what we can do to experience more FLOW!

End-time Bride…

Earlier today, as I lay in bed, it seemed that Holy Spirit was saying a lot of things. And perhaps the most important is this:

“Do you know why the Bible refers to many sons and daughters of God but only one Bride? That is because the Bride is the main identity that the Church will become as we approach the end of this age and the wedding of the Lamb. And as we approach this wedding, one of the signature qualities of the Bride will be one-ness and true, SPIRIT-DEFINED and SPIRIT-LED unity, far beyond anything the Church has yet experienced.”

And as this happens, the world will respond and be caught up in a glorious revival beyond imagining.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”(John 17:20-23)

And along with this mind-blowing revival, there will be much turmoil and shaking in the earth and among the nations. And because of this, I encourage everyone to seek His face and His grace as we approach these beyond-amazing times. “Fasten your seat-belt, Dorothy, ’cause Kansas is going bye-bye.”

It really happened!
