“Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

The enemy will do anything he can to keep us dwelling on the past — but Jesus is calling us FORWARD and UPWARD to our true destiny! And this destiny is often something we must fight for (in our thoughts and emotions) and choose daily. BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!

“And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists
and that He REWARDS those who EARNESTLY seek Him.”

(Hebrews 11:6)

Don’t trade your calling from God for ANYTHING!

Don’t allow the vision He has given you to be hijacked by the busy-ness and trivia of the world and the path of least resistance!

Return to your First Love — and to the adventure of Love He has called you to!

Don’t let the Flame go out!  Rage, rage, against the dying of the Light!

“Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.” (Psalm 105:19)

Often, when God speaks a powerful word of destiny over our lives, it will seem that the exact opposite is happening, and that instead of smooth sailing, we run into storms. The above verse is about Joseph. He had a powerful prophetic DREAM about being put into a place of great authority — and then for years, it seemed that the exact opposite was happening. This was part of God’s plan. The trials he went through were actually meant to PREPARE and MATURE him, so that when the word came to pass, and Joseph was lifted up to a place of great authority, he would have the maturity and humility to move in that authority effectively. The same pattern happened in David’s life.

So my dear friends — do not be discouraged if the DREAM God has given you seems far from realization today. Continue to hope and wait upon the Lord. IN HIS TIME, HE MAKES ALL THINGS GLORIOUS!!!

“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience INHERIT THE PROMISES.” (Hebrews 6:11-12)

And the good and effective thing about how Joseph believed and trusted is that even while in prison, he did not give up hope, but rather chose to minister in his gifting where he was, and in God’s perfect timing, he was lifted up and vindicated.

THE ULTIMATE CLOUD TECHNOLOGY!!  Our spiritual family in heaven is watching and cheering us on!!!

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a CLOUD OF WITNESSES, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

digging for treasure - LOON WATCHMAN BLOG

“The kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field.” (Matthew 13:44)
Want the good stuff? You gotta spend time digging. Casual seekers find very little.

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.” (Hebrews 10:35-36)

This concept just keeps coming back to me.  To persevere.  And to persevere is often a severe action and heart focus and mindset.   In some ways, such a foreign word to our culture.  But absolutely necessary for spiritual victory.
