His grace is enough!

“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
My friends, this is very good news! And if you are struggling in some area, take heart and keep looking to Jesus and His grace. If you never quit, you never lose.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13)
The key is to not be wandering around this sick, crazy world on your own. Yes, if we are born-again believers, He lives in us…but do we live in Him? Only when we are found in Him (that’s what it means to “abide”) do we experience ongoing victory over sin and the junk of this world. For those who pay the price to maintain intimacy and communication with Jesus, the rewards are amazing…
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered;” (John 15:4-6)
The choice is ours — will we wander around on our own, randomly stepping on demonic landmines and continuously falling into the enemy’s traps…or will we stay close to Him (in prayer, devotion, obedience) and walk in victory over sin and the world?
WE CAN DO THIS! WE CAN WALK IN VICTORY!! HIS GRACE IS ENOUGH!!!

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair…” (Charles Dickens)
It is not either/or. It is both/and. We are in an extraordinary time. And it is still in its infancy. What we see presently are merely the “birth pangs”. Still in seed form. But more and more, we will see the darkness getting darker and the Light getting brighter. And all those who have put their faith and trust in the faithfulness and love and power of Jesus will not be disappointed.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)
And as this happens, the last and greatest Revival of the human race will break forth — as many in darkness will see (some for the first time) the true Light of Christ, as it shines forth from His Bride — and as they see this, they will run to the Light!

With all the intense things going on in the world, sometimes Christians lose sight of what is truly and amazingly important – that the Creator of the universe is living inside of them…
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.”
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
He’s the Holy Ghost — not the Holy Guest! He doesn’t occasionally visit us — we are His dwelling place. A real breakthrough happens when we experientially realize the 24/7 indwelling Presence of the Living God. LIKE, HE’S IN US ALL THE FREAKING TIME!!!
And…“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
